REUSE, RECYCLE AND SOURCE RESPONSIBLY

We are very conscious of the waste generated in a standard office on a daily basis. Wherever possible we reuse first. If it cannot be reused by us we look to who could reuse it and so our empty tape rolls end up in childcare centres and local playgroups who use them for craft.

If it can’t be reused we recycle. All paper and cardboard which is not reused is recycled. Any excess nappy boxes are used for collecting garden vegetation. The pallets used for the nappies are made from recycled woodchip and are sent to the local tip for recycling.

Our printed matter is from recycled paper/card purchased from Scrap stationery. You can find more details of Scrap and their excellent products at www.scrap.com.au.

GIVING BACK

At ECOdirect we believe that it is our responsibility as a company to give back to the community in a way that will benefit the environment and that is why we donate a percentage of all nappy sales to the following charities:

For every box of Moltex Eco Nappies purchased, ECOdirect plant a tree through TreesForLife. Trees For Life is a non-profit organization that works with the community to collect over 300kg of native seed with the aim of growing native seedlings to reseed over 500 km of cleared land annually. Greening Australia is a national non-profit organization that works in partnership with landholders, the community, government and businesses dedicated to managing and repairing native vegetations throughout Australia.

With our WOTNOT range we focus on children in need and donate a percentage of all WOTNOT sales worldwide to children's charities.
